      Convenience

      • Cruise control - Set it and forget it. Road trips used to be stressful, until cruise control set the pace. Simply set the desired speed and it will maintain that speed without driver intervention. This can help minimize driver fatigue and improve overall fuel economy. Meet your ultimate co-pilot; cruise control.

      Powertrain and Mechanical

      • An OHV (pushrod) engine typically generates low-end torque sooner than an OHC engine of similar size. Peak torque is achieved at a lower RPM in OHV engines than in other designs, providing good acceleration from a stop.

      Safety and Security

      • Ignition immobilizer - Theft is a non-starter. You can feel more secure about your vehicle being there when you come back. Ignition immobilizer is a passive security system consisting of a transmitter in the ignition key and a sensor located in the vehicle. If both are not present or do not recognize each other, the vehicle will not start. Ignition immobilizer a sure-fire way to prevent the theft of your vehicle.
      • Manual rear child safety door locks - Keep it all inside. Manual rear child safety locks help prevent a kid's fidgets from becoming a big problem. Because if kids can touch it, they want to play with it, and that includes door handles and locks. When enabled, the safety locks stop the doors from being opened from the inside. Manual rear child safety door locks replace mistakes with peace of mind.

This car floats down the road with a dreamy factory stereo to add its comfort. I have recently bought this vehicle from a local lot and was somewhat skeptical from past experiences with local lots. However, this time I was very pleasantly suprised and almost felt guilty about negotiating a lower price from the dealer for this car. An Olds 88 was my first car and it may well be my last. I embrace every mile that I drive in this vehicle.

I purchased this car from my brother and I love this car. I'm 23 years old and live in Alaska. The front wheel drive, in combination with the Traction Control System, really did nice in the winter. The digital controls and temperature gauge was cool because I had an autostart installed that would kick on the heater when you used the remote. It also has a rear defrosting window. The summer was when you saw the performance of the car! The supercharger was really cool when you need that extra ooomf!! Also, whenever I had someone in the passengers seat, they would fall asleep when I hit the highway because the seats are really comfortable and it drives smooth. Alaskan winter worthy, comfortable, and faster than your average car.
